May all beings receive the Amude of Shiva and become Shiva, without asking for anything else,

I do not ask for anything else, O Parasiva Guru!

I take refuge in the Guru…. Long live the Guru…….. The Guru is my helper!

We offer our humble obeisance and blessings to all the birds of knowledge who are waiting to taste the knowledge by joining our seeds in the seedbed.

Today, the topic we are going to talk about is the deity called Guru. Come, let us have a sweet conversation. Let us welcome the Satguru with a short poem.

You made us feel the knowledge of knowledge in our being.

You made us breathe the sweet air,

You made us fertilize the cool rays of the moon,

You dried it in the sun’s oven,

You united the deity with the Prana Purushan,

You planted the nectar of Tamil and writing in our heads.

Whenever I think of you,

My life melts, swells, and melts,

Like a honey-dipped palm tree!

What kind of penance did I perform to attain you as a deity? Who knows?

“What, is there only one song and one dance? What is the matter?” My Guru Sri Sri Paramahansa Sundarananda Maharishi said. I will never forget the days I spent with my Guru on Chathuragiri Hill. I am still living in that present moment.

“I heard a song,” he said again.

“Oh Guru, I was just thinking about you. Then a poem came to me, singing a lullaby. That is what I was mumbling.”

“Poetry? Do you know how to write poems? You never said that.” He said.

“Love is a ghost, a devil, a Mohini, when it enters inside, even a beggar will recite poetry, Guru.” I said.

“Did you have love then?” he said.

“That goddess came for a long time. I have been searching for that goddess. I have not been able to find her, Guru.” I said.

“Oh, is that so, the matter is. Can I find her and give her to you?” he said.

“Why are you lying here like this, Guru? Why have I come here? I am learning magic. Let’s see how it goes. Where are you going to run?” I said.

“When you think of girls, love and poetry come to you? When you think of me, poetry doesn’t come?” he said.

“Guru, when you think of poetry, Chathuragiri will run away with its hind legs beating its hind legs,” I said.

“Hey, Mawane, that’s all you are,” he said.

“Then what about Guru, when someone sees a Sannyasi, a preacher, or a Guru, will they flatter you with poetry?” I said.

“Then you won’t sing poetry about me,” he said, raising his voice a little. Fear began to creep in. I was at a loss as to how to deal with him, unable to understand anything. Then Gnanamba gave me an idea and said, “Shiva Nesa, shall I give you an idea?” “Tell me, Gnanamba” I said. “Recite a poem to our Guru as if he were your lover, he will be happy,” he said. “Oh, this is not what we think. Gnanamba, this is a great idea. I will do it,” I said and started talking to the Guru.

“Okay Guru. I will recite a poem for you. I don’t know how to sing all the ragas. I will recite some kind of poem like this. But, you have to give me one permission, only then will poetry flow within me.”

“What, poetry? Then. What is it for you today? Okay, I will give you permission, Vasi,” he said.

Then, I prayed to the poet goddess and started to calm my mind. The words started to flow. The words started to merge. The words started to show beauty. While I was staring at the guru without blinking, the plate of honey candy that the devotees had given in front of the guru was full. The seed for the poet had been found. Honey candy. Then I started to read the poem.

My goddess is a honey candy.

Has anyone ever heard that a goddess eats honey candy?

I have never heard of it.

But, today,

I am sitting and watching in person!!

What blessing had my eyes done to see her lips moving here and there while she tasted and ate?!?!

What penance had she done!?!?

That honey candy..

Only after the honey reaches her flower-like petal and touches it, the candy becomes complete. That is why it is called “honey candy”…!

I completely forgot that I was an angel..

I spent many hours of the day with her..

Smiling and talking and being happy.

My angel..

My whole mind was filled..

You are imprinted in my soul like memories..!

As a witness to the fact that I was with the angel, I asked her to give me a kiss..

To that, the angel said, “If you fulfill one of my needs, I will kiss you and make love to you”…!

I was afraid inside of what she was going to ask..

Did she say roll this world into my hands?

Or did she say carry it in the sky and fly?

I wanted to sleep on the moon. Will she catch it?

Will she ask you to bring the southern breeze with her hand?

Will she sing poetry with the parrots who speak the language of the Killai?

Will she look at me face to face

inwardly

and look at me eye to eye

with this leaf of pleasure?

Perhaps she will melt and sing a poem about me,

and say, “Mix it with life?”

That’s what I thought to myself?!?!

But she said,

She should lift me and carry the salt bag…

Is it a reward for eating a piece of meat?

Oh God, you have shown your mercy, my spine, be careful, my angel is going to ride on you, her body is not injured, join her to my body, my shoulders, today you are going to heaven, yes, my angel is going to hug you with her soft neck, in the pleasure of that hug, disappear from this world to heaven, shouldn’t heaven be there like a flower! For those few minutes when I was carrying my angel on my back, it seemed as if the whole world had stopped behind me..! My angel was lighter than a feather! Do you know why? Isn’t she an angel!!! In my mind, the honey that frees from suffering came and stuck to my life. I was moaning that an angel is honey without suffering! I let her down and said, “Now give me your flowery kiss.” She laughed and said, “That’s impossible.” She hid and lied…. I learned that day that even though she was an angel, she was also a woman. What kind of women have no shortage of lies? What was the reason for refusing to kiss me? I am naturally a beauty addict, so why did she say no? Questions started to crawl like ants

She doesn’t know me

I photographed her with my eyes

Kissed her petals

And got stuck in my heart

At the time of saying goodbye

I would like to say goodbye

For the rest of my life

My soul

The young goddess, the spirit that surrounds me

Haven’t I seen tears in love

Oh, without you?

My lips kept reciting the lyrics of the movie song

The goddess was sitting nearby

I was lost in her beauty

I was laughing

I couldn’t even blink without crying

I was watching

Suddenly she grabbed my chin

And turned her head

Where did my angel come from?

Before I could finish thinking that,

three kisses

on my forehead, scalp and

on my cheek…

I started to sway in the excitement of eating the “Kuchu Mittai and Kuruvi Roti” in the kiss that her lips touched

with the angel called Guru………

When I finished reading the poem, there was complete silence. The Guru kept looking at me without changing his gaze. She said, “Gnanamba, how wonderful, how wonderful, how wonderful.” The Guru said, “Gnanamba, catch him. If you have come to teach wisdom, look, the poet is singing and shouting. Catch him,” and came running.

Where am I running? They both caught me together. I was in a panic. “Oh, brother. In this world, you are the only one who has seen a wise guru, a great sage, a siddha, a lover, or a goddess. Alapar, where does all this poetry come from?” he said.

“Everything comes from you, Guru,” he said.

“I know everything, Guru, when you talk to the siddhas, you speak in a poetic style. It is like a Sangam Tamil Arangam. I started to absorb the wisdom and secrets that your words gave me. That’s why I decided to love you like this. How could I have a girl or a girlfriend? You’re the only one, Guru, can you make me love you without talking? You won’t say “Absaksan” and I gathered my courage and spoke.

I think Guru was a little shocked. He was silent for a while. “Gnanam, what is this guy doing? He’s just making coffee” he said.

“Forgive me if I’m wrong Guru. Some old memories can’t be forgotten. That’s why I showed you the love I had in my heart,” I said and fell at his feet and started crying.

Guru didn’t expect this. He immediately lifted me up and said, “Why are you crying? It’s nothing. These feelings of love sometimes give the mind the strength of an elephant. That’s why I’m by your side, let’s see. So do you see me as a lover or a goddess?” he said.

“A little,” I said. Gnanamba started laughing. The Guru also started laughing and the place became a place of bliss.

Who else could I love if I didn’t love the Guru who gave me everything? These changeable people? I thought to myself that the Guru is better than that.

Do you know what the state of mind of a disciple who learns the knowledge of Brahman from a Guru should be like? This true story tells it.

Once upon a time, an old Guru and his young disciple were walking along the banks of the Himalayan Ganges to their ashram. They had to walk a long distance; moreover, the path was steep and bumpy. On the way to the ashram, they had to cross a branch of the Ganges river, which was flowing quite calmly.

There, a young woman was sitting on the bank of the river. Since her house was on the other side of the river, she was afraid to go alone. So she asked the Guru who was passing by to help her cross the river. The woman was so afraid to go down into the river. Seeing her fear, the Guru agreed to the woman’s request and, thinking that the woman should not go down into the river and be fearless, lifted her on his shoulders and safely landed her on the opposite bank. The woman also thanked the Guru for helping her in time and went home. The disciple, unable to accept the Guru’s action, fell into deep thought.

They crossed the difficult path and finally reached the ashram. Although he was very tired, the disciple’s mind was restless and he was waiting to see if the Guru would ask him something.

Finally, the disciple said to the Guru, “Guru, we have taken a vow not to touch women; but you have carried that woman away; “You told us not to have any thoughts about women, but you are behaving differently, Guru, is this right?” he complained.

The Guru laughed and said, “I have lifted that woman and brought her to the opposite shore. But you are still carrying that woman in your mind with your thoughts. How are you going to get rid of that burden?”

Do you know what we need to learn from this?

Whatever lesson the Guru taught, one should not confuse it in the mind and misunderstand its meaning, but should clearly understand the meaning of that affirmation in the mind.

When we lived with the Guru in Chathuragiri, we used to talk about many, many Brahmanana. We are happy to share some of the wonderful flowers of wisdom that occurred with you.

Once, after completing the early morning Brahmanana penance, Gnanambala and I were waiting for the words of wisdom that the Guru would speak.

When the Guru arrived, both of us touched his golden feet with our hands and worshipped. We used to do this whenever Sat Visaram was held. The Guru began to enter Brahman.

The question arose from me. “Guru, you said during the early morning penance today that what we worship as Brahman cannot be found and that it is within the hearts of those who worship it, but the Satgurus who are Brahmanana are always worshipped as God by their disciples. Explain the importance and necessity of this.” We said.

“Son, the Gurus are considered as Gods and are worshipped by the disciples and the people. But this is just the beginning, not the end. The real Guru is the one who finally frees his disciple from all kinds of worship and devotion. But this cannot be achieved in the beginning, son.”

“The relationship that initially exists between the Guru and the disciple is based on love. It is also emotional. The one to whom you are attached and love with affection, he appears to you as God.”

“The same thing happens in love. Due to the resistance of love, the Guru appears as a deity who has come down to earth. In this case, the relationship between the Guru and the disciple becomes very deep and profound affection. At that time, it is a bond like that of birds. You fall in love with the Guru. There is no mistake in this, son. The affection, love and affection for the Guru will give the disciple millions of benefits.”

“When you love your Guru in this way, you will start worshipping and worshipping him. But the Guru will take this as a mere game. If he too, like you, becomes involved in this relationship and gives importance to it and takes it deeply, then he will become the Guru. This is also one of the Guru’s divine games, my son.”

“Think a little about how these events will help a disciple in the supreme knowledge he will attain, my son. When a disciple starts worshipping and worshipping his Guru more, he will enter into a great closeness with the Guru. He will become intimate with him, just like you. The Guru will achieve the act of surrendering to his destiny. The great maturity of mind that accepts what happens as it is will begin to blossom in the disciple. Due to this, the interest in absorbing the Guru’s wisdom will continue to grow in the disciple. The state of humility will begin to develop in him. When self-control, the maturity to absorb the Guru’s wisdom, and the philosophy of surrender are achieved, the disciple can understand very well what the true Guru is trying to do? What is he trying to sow?

“When this intimate understanding reaches the last point, when there is only an inch of distance between us, when there is only a minute of delay left, when there is such a deep intimacy that the Guru can draw the disciple into himself, then a Guru can make the disciple free from himself and leave.”

“Initially, this is not possible, my son. When the Guru tries to give you freedom from him in the very beginning, you cannot understand it. It will not even make sense to you.”

“If the Guru says to kill me, you must kill him immediately. If you jump off a mountain, you must jump off without thinking for a second, without considering the depth, length, breadth, or abyss of the mountain. That is all. Only if you have such immense faith in the Guru’s word, can you receive the Guru’s perfect grace, love, and desire. This in a way shows your worthiness. If you do not achieve this state, it will be difficult to learn the art from the Guru later on.”

“This state of complete surrender cannot be brought about immediately. But, this quality must be developed gradually. This is a very long path of knowledge. If the disciple can master this, then the Guru will start working completely for the disciple. His entire life will be for the disciple. To attain such a Guru, the disciple has to wait for three hundred thousand years, my son. After that, the Guru will turn an entire yuga upside down for the disciple.”

“The disciple has no chance of knowing all this. This is the other side of the Guru that he does not know. The disciple is always traveling in darkness. His Guru will take him to a certain limit and then leave him. He is no longer a disciple. The Guru will make him rise as a Guru and see his beauty. He too will evolve from the state of a disciple and rise as a Guru. This is the universal destiny that must surely happen.”

“When you attain the high status of a Guru, the need to depend on someone else will have completely disappeared. When you can be alone, when there is no pain, sorrow, defilement, pain, or anguish within you, you will be alive and alone. Then a kind of blissful agitation will begin to arise within you. If you can continue to immerse yourself in that feeling, you will attain liberation from worldly attachment and from the debt of birth, my son.”

“To tell the truth, when a disciple is very close to his Guru, he will appear to him as a God. This is natural for the disciple. The reason is that the flood of love of such a Guru will flow from the Guru into the disciple like a fountain of nectar.”

“The vibrations of mercy – of grace from the Guru will begin to flow towards the disciple. Then the Guru will begin to be the source of the disciple. This is the mirror of the great and wonderful Guru that the disciple has – has not – received. From now on, the Guru will begin to be a life within the disciple. Therefore, since this self-existence of the Guru always comes from within the disciple, due to that reflection, the disciple will continue to rise and rise in Brahman and become absorbed in the sky. He is no longer a disciple. The vibrations given by these feelings of proximity of the Guru will continue to take the disciple to another evolution in Brahman”.

“Therefore, to a disciple, his Guru will always appear as a God – if he appears, then it is not a lie for him, but the truth. What else can be said of the Guru who touches and reveals that God is life; this is God; this is the great life of God, my son, except that he is God. From this, the disciple will feed the thought that he is also a child of God and that his father is God, so at some point the disciple will start considering himself as God. A true Guru, looking at his disciple, would keep him alive by telling him that one day he will become a god through this supreme wisdom that he is learning.”

“Remember, son. The truth must be revealed to a disciple gradually. It cannot be revealed completely and presented. If you do that, the disciple will not have the strength to bear it.”

“You cannot accept the truth in its entirety. You cannot bear it. It will have very bad consequences. The truth must be shown slowly. Gradually, the amount of truth that you can absorb will be revealed to you. The amount of truth that you can become as your blood, heart, bones, and body, the amount of truth that is true will not harm you. Therefore, only that amount is permitted.”

“Thus, many things are told by the Guru later, son. The Guru will keep on telling wisdom. As you grow in ability and ability, the wisdom he imparts will continue to grow like an akshaya. When you become a full-fledged child with so much strength and courage that you can spread your wings freely, the Guru will say: Disciple, I am your fetter, bond, and attachment. Now you throw off this last chain of yours. Leave this last slave animal, and may you abide in the nightless place of Brahman, my son, we bless you perfectly,” he said, giving a long wisdom and pressing his golden fingers on my head and the head of Gnanambal, and began to bestow his rays of Brahman light. Gnanambal and I joined our hands, which were dripping with tears, and we began to cry profusely.

“Son, one day this wisdom will blossom between you both. “Then you would have passed me by,” he said, blessing us both with his compassionate eyes and then suddenly and magically disappeared from that place.

Gnanambal and I didn’t know what to do. We looked at each other in silence. Gnanambal started talking. “Shivanesa, what did the Guru come to tell us? Why did he bless us? I don’t understand anything. Will the Guru leave us?” she said.

“No, Gnanambal. The Guru couldn’t leave us like that. He has chosen both of us for some great Himalayan mission and is bringing his tricks to life. He is clearly indicating that one day we will have to do his work – services without him. Everything is the Guru’s will – God’s grace. What else, Gnanambal. Without giving up the supreme meditation, we will travel, taking the Guru’s words as the words of the Vedas. But, one thing is certain, Gnanambal. Soon you and I will be separated. This is going to happen in the next 3 or 4 years, and I can feel that very well. You will be in the north with the Guru. I feel like I have to do his work in the south. That is what these trees are talking about. We can feel the feelings and movements of trees very well, Gnana. Let’s see, is it true that I feel this way? Or not? Let’s see,” I said.

The moon came to the top of Chathuragiri. We both went to sleep. The Guru also arrived. The three of us started sleeping near the Sundara Mahalingam. I started holding the Guru’s feet. Time has passed. Today, the Guru has placed us in the place of a Guru. We have been doing his work as much as we can till now; we will continue to do it. If there is a Guru, why worry? We are struggling to do the Guru’s work.

Enough of today’s talk. Let’s meet again next Thursday.
