State of Jeeva Mukti – State of Brama Mukti
Pure form and the blessed form is Omkar
Eternal form prospers – called as Siddhu
I received the form of wisdom here, everywhere
Thaanavilai Yaattu Iyattha Thaan (Vallalar)
Due to the reason that the Almighty commanded me to speak on this topic, and when I requested this from the Guru, both the true Guru and the Guru agreed, I have come today to share with you the true realizations and awareness I have experienced on the topic of “What is Jeevan Mukti? What is Brama Mukti?”.
Thula Thegam (ethereal body) by following the path of Sanmargam (righteous path) attains the form of the sky, becoming one with the divine. How can one commend the resolve of Vallarp Peruman, who boldly proclaimed, “My path is the path of righteousness that conquers death”? Can anyone speak with such confidence without having conquered death? Tell me. Using this platform, I wish to share some of the profound realizations and experiences of Brama Gnana that we have witnessed and marveled at during our Guru’s lifetime, enriched by the wisdom we’ve attained so far.
To this, we extend our reverence to our mother Bhuvaneshwari, Bala Thayi who embraced us, and Meenakshi Thayi who nurtured me as her child. We honor the Guru who enlightened my soul with supreme wisdom, and the ancient Tamil Siddhars like Kagabhujandar, Thirumoolar, Agathiyar, Bhogar, the four Samiya Gurus, the Siddhars of Saduragiri, the Siddhars of Podhigai Malai, and all Brama Gnanis. Adorning their divine feet with Konrai flowers and spreading the fragrance of jasmine, I, the humblest and smallest of devotees, stand as the servant of true devotees, known as this Rudra Shivatha, and implore their blessings and grace. May all Brama Gnana Siddhars bless us.
Alright, we can get into the topic.
The true state of liberation is to attain moksha with this physical body itself without being subjected to grayness, illusion, aging, or disease, and without turning into a lifeless body. That is the state of Brama Moksha.
“It is said in the world that ‘those who are born will die, and those who die will be born’.”
“The way to be reborn after changing is not something you know,” says Agathiyar.
If the deceased are to be reborn, they would have left this body as a corpse. Is that the true state of liberation? We should compare this to what is mentioned in the Tirumandiram under the section on ‘Methods for Body Perfection’.
In the body dies, in the soul dies.
They will not attain steadfast realization of ultimate truth.
I raised my body, I raised my life. (Thirukkural 724)
I was previously engrossed in my body
I found the essence within the body
“In the body, the noble one has built a temple,”
I nurture and maintain my body carefully. (Thirukkural 725)
If one restrains the body, without letting it go astray, and binds it with the supreme knowledge, won’t the bliss of ultimate joy come into our grasp? The following Thirumanthiram explains the path to attaining the state of liberation.
The threefold umbrella snake has two eights.
“Tie both boiled eggs”
Stay firm, let not the body perish (Thi. Ma. 728)
We have elaborated on this song in detail with procedures in our book, “Hidden Thirumanthiram Secrets,” which we are currently writing. We have also spoken about it on the video platform. Souls that wander through birth and death must ultimately attain liberation someday, shouldn’t they? Is there a difference between death and liberation, or not? In both these states, don’t we leave the body as a corpse? The thought that liberation is attained upon leaving the body after death is one of the reasons why many people in the world fail to understand the true state of liberation and treat it with indifference.
Today in this world, we hear the phrases “attained Sivapadam – attained Vaikuntapadam – united – became that – passed away” used to honor those who have lived virtuous lives after their death. All these phrases are spoken to honor the deceased. But no enlightened beings, siddhas, or great sages would accept these, would they? Those who are immersed in the discipline of Brama Gnana, the lineage of Siddhanta Gurus, those who practice wisdom, and the knowledgeable elders are all truly virtuous. They would have nearly crossed all the stages.
Regardless of the great mystical powers one may possess, “Even if one becomes a hill, a tree, or a well,” (Thiruvachagam – Seththilaapathu-2), “Renouncing everything, becoming a bodyless spirit,” lying arid like snakes and owls for 1000 years, either lying dormant or in sleep, by the grace of the Almighty, gaining the ability to drink, eat, and experience bliss, becoming divine sages, when they live in the world like common people and, through a spiritual process, subtly dissolve their body without any apparent change, only then, obtaining liberation (mukti) becomes an immensely challenging task for them.
In the Thiruvasagam, in the section of Thiruvandappakuthi Agaval, it is reminded here that if one tortures the body and performs penance, they will not attain true liberation. It is mentioned, “Those who say restrain, restrain are foolish,” and in Thirumanthiram it is said, “Our Lord will act in a simple manner.”
One should transform this perishable body of flesh into a divine body, also known as an eternal body. This can be achieved similarly to how a washerman removes dirt from dirty clothes using strong cleaning agents to make them spotless. With the grace of the Guru, if one fully integrates and imbibes the essence through physical and spiritual nourishment, what is consumed integrates into the body. As it integrates, the mortal qualities of this fleshly body will gradually dissipate, and the body will attain an eternal nature. Consequently, this physical body will undergo a transformation and become divine. The basis for this can be found in several songs from Appar Swamigal’s various hymns, Thirumaarperu Thirukkurunthogai, and numerous verses from Thirumoolar’s eighth Tantra. These songs discreetly reveal the truth of the attainment of liberation.
When Lord Appar transformed his aged, diseased body into an immortal state with the practice of beneficial yogas, an elephant came to kill him. However, upon seeing Appar, the elephant bowed to him, circumambulated him, and then left peacefully. Even when he was thrown into quicklime, his body did not burn; it remained cool and intact. Furthermore, even when he was cast into the sea, his body did not perish. All these occurrences demonstrate that Lord Appar had indeed attained the true state of liberation.
Bodies and lives, intertwined with sound and consciousness, should not separate but rather stay bound together by unshakable devotion through the grace of the true guru. Through the profound meditations leading to divine knowledge that the guru reveals, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled. With the ascetic practices of knowledge, light increases within the essence of the soul, and body and life achieve a harmonious co-existence. As the solar and lunar energies merge intricately, transforming into an ethereal state of grace, ultimately becoming one with Shiva, no Vedic scriptures or Upanishads in any language of this world have ever described the necessary rituals for this transformation.
Only in our dearly beloved Tamil language have numerous mystic notes and secrets been revealed on this matter. It is stated in the fourth verse of “Suddha Saadhagam” (Pure Practices), “In the unity achieved through devotion, the junction of energies is spoken of in the Upanishads,” indicating such wisdom has not been shared elsewhere. The composer of “Suddha Saadhagam” is Kumaradevar. “The state of true liberation occurs when grace subtly recedes and merges with Shiva from the moment of manifestation.”
“If the physical body, upon decaying, falls to the ground as a corpse, it is the path of rebirth, not the path of liberation.” The gross, subtle, and causal bodies cannot stand apart from each other. It is strongly emphasized in the pure teachings that those who attain liberation appear to vanish with their physical body as perceived by the worldly people.
Saivam is not just about living without killing and consuming other beings; it is truly about achieving eternal life through beneficial yogas without letting one’s own life be destroyed by grey hair, obstructions, old age, or diseases. If you die like animals or birds, you are not Saivites; you are truly non-Saivites.
Food plays an important role in the attainment of the human body’s optimal state. According to what sages and mystics have said, if foods are consumed accordingly, this body will begin to turn towards eternity.
No one, including Kumara Devar and other Brama Jnanis, has stated that when the physical body decays and becomes a corpse, the soul departs and attains liberation. The genuine devotees who regularly practice Brama Gnana and the aspirants of Gnana Sadhana should transform their physical body into a subtle body, preventing it from decaying due to illness and aging, and attain the eternal state. This is something we all must carefully observe. Here are the sacred words I’m going to say: In the form of a weighing balance, with grace, dissolving and becoming Shiva That is the true state of liberation, listen as I show it clearly like a green melon.
Having come and blessed by removing all the falsehood
Oh True Light, that shines with true knowledge
You who has the power to completely destroy the deceitful witchcraft (Shiva Puranam, Thiruvasagam)

That is our only desire, and during your spiritual penance, constantly recite and immerse in the true essence of the divine feet. The unyielding truth will rush to you, embrace, and begin a relationship with your true essence. We experience that bliss every day. Shouldn’t you also experience it and immerse deeply in that true happiness? Come, noble souls.

Our own Thayumanavar Swamigal also strived to attain this great truth of liberation but failed, and hence he spoke of his incapability as ‘shed falsehood.’ Nevertheless, refuting those who claim that the physical body falls as a corpse and thereafter the soul attains liberation, “If the soul can easily attain liberation like the body rests in death according to the natural order, is it because of the inherent connection, O Supreme One?” Forever “Obtaining a pragmatic power through the body and achieving liberation while alive is truly the best path, O Supreme Being” (Parāparakanni – 358, 357) suggests that attaining a pure state through the body and ultimately merging with it is considered the true state of liberation.
This is how, having seen the essence of the Vedas encapsulated in the Thiruvasagam and Thirukkovai at the sanctum of Nataraja in Chidambaram, the learned Brahmins of Thillai who read those texts were bewildered and could not comprehend their meaning. When these Vedic scholars asked Manikkavachakar, “What is the meaning of this scripture written by our Lord?” Manikkavachakar pointed with his finger to Lord Shiva in the sanctum of Nataraja and declared, “This is the true essence of the Thiruvasagam.” As many witnessed in awe, he vanished into the sanctum, transforming into light along with his physical body. We must understand well that the true state of liberation is explicitly stated in gnostic texts like Thiruvasagam, Thirukkovai, and Thirumandiram, which describe vanishing with the physical body to merge with Shiva.
The fusion of the physical body and the soul, becoming an amalgamation, with the sun and moon’s phases joining and blending together, stands as a testament to the true state of liberation (Mukti). The subtle merging with grace, known as the union with Shiva’s body, represents the true state of liberation (Mukti).
As references, when many including Nandanar, Senthanar, and Muthuthandava Peruman witnessed it, they disappeared as light with a physical body in front of the Nataraja’s presence. In the Thiruvarangan sanctuary, Andal similarly merged with light and disappeared with Rangan. Despite all this, she was a young girl. A very young age. How was this luminous physical transformation possible for her? Just think about it for a moment. When a young girl can transform into light and merge with the divine, can’t we do the same? Tell me.
Avvai Thay received enlightenment three times in three different places and ultimately merged with the divine light. Not only that, but what do we call it when all the people who went to see the wedding celebration of Thirugnana Sambandar in Thirumanancheri, including a dog, entered and disappeared into a great luminous shaft inside the sanctum along with Shiva?
When the secret of the Vedas is like this, without realizing this, the religious teachers and custodians also occupy themselves with the superficial aspects, not understanding that it is natural to do so with the physical. They mistakenly speak about merging with the physical as a form of supernatural power, spiritual maturity, or imaginative state in their ignorance, which I cannot accept.
We must understand that concealing with the ephemeral is all an act of divine grace. This state is also known as the unattainable path, the path of non-birth, the path of non-death, the path of Shiva, and the path of the Guru. “The 12th verse in Koodalazhagar’s code states, ‘Those who don’t understand the way in which the body and soul exist together, will not understand the crop lying there.’” Tie both the cracked eggs Stay steadfast, body, do not perish (Thirumandiram 728, Method to Achieve Bodily Perfection)
The verses of the Thirumandiram describe variously about the imperishability of the body and soul, and how they remain inseparable and united. Our body, when it attains the state of Ardhanarishvara, which is the unity of male and female aspects, only then does death become imperceptible and life transforms into the eternal, becoming Shiva. In the Thiruvacakam, Manickavasagar says, “As the Lord graced me with the inner essence of the Omkara, whoever comprehends this shall exclaim in wonder.” He explains that the Guru of ThiruPerundurai imparted the spiritual discipline and wisdom necessary to attain the inner essence of the Omkara. Manickavasagar, guided by this divine teaching, progressed in the spiritual discipline of Supreme Knowledge and experienced the divine visions of Shiva, which he later rendered into the verses of Thiruvacakam.
Manickavasagar witnessed and experienced these profound divine Shiva visions within his very being. Concerned that inscribing these experiences on palm leaves might diminish their divine nature, it is believed that Lord Shiva himself, in the form of the beautiful Chittrambalam, sat before Manickavasagar and personally completed writing the Thiruvacakam. What greater glory and honor could Thiruvacakam and Manickavasagar have than this!
The essence of the eternal Vedas is encapsulated in the Thiruvacakam, which can be regarded as the very life force of the divine scripture. Once, after Umapathi Sivachariar granted liberation to Pertran Samban and the thorny bush, he himself achieved liberation, leaving his physical body. Both Pertran Samban and the thorny bush attained the state of true liberation in the form of divine light.
The body, which is entangled in the cycle of birth, and composed of ignorance and physical substance, is laid to rest on the earth as a corpse. The Pranava body that belongs to the Jeevanmukhtas dissolves gracefully and becomes formless. Therefore, we must understand that considering a fallen, ignorant body as a divine form is against nature. The difference between the ignorant body and the divine body is vast.
Based on what has been said so far, I assume you understand that the true state of liberation (moksha) involves transcending the physical body. The natural course is that the physical body deteriorates and falls as a corpse.
The Vedas, Agama scriptures, and religious texts mention the state of liberation called Jivanmukthi. According to these texts, human beings are bound by worldly ties. One who frees himself from these ties is considered liberated. The Jivanmuktha appears to be bound by physical limitations, but in truth, he has severed all emotional and material attachments. Eventually, he will die, but can we consider him as having attained Jivanmukthi or Vidheka Mukthi at that point? You decide. Essentially, once all our karmic debts are dissolved, the body naturally falls away. In this state, the person may not even be aware that the body is dying. The Jnani (wise one) says that in this case, the soul attains Vidheka Mukthi. The shedding of the body is merely physical death, not liberation. However, this death is referred to as Kaivalya Mukthi.
Thayumanavar vehemently denies this.
Like the world rests, the soul attains liberation.
Ideas and actions are inherently divine
He denies that, like everyone else, the soul, after the body falls exhausted and lifeless, separates and attains liberation alone, saying it is just the nature of relationships.
At times when this is not accepted, the religious and sectarian ideologues stubbornly argue: “Isn’t this body perishable? It will inevitably fall. When the soul, which is perfected in this body, slips away, it leaves this body and attains liberation by dwelling in the subtle body.” Now, we are going to learn about an important secret. We have five types of states. There are no human beings who haven’t experienced these states. The term ‘state’ means suffering. In each of these states, our consciousness goes to different places and stays there. Let’s learn more about it. The five states are waking (jagrat), dreaming (swapna), deep sleep (sushupti), turya, and turiyatita.
When the life force stands in the middle of the brows along with the sixteen vital airs, our physical body remains in an active state. This is the waking state. Sakiram. The living being, in the state of dream (soppanam), remains in our perception with four instruments. At that time, the body appears in a subtle form. In the state of sleep, the living being, together with two instruments (mind and intellect), resides in the heart, appearing as a subtle body. In a state of trance, the life form stands on the stigma of the flower, with the body being the subtle form, that is, remaining as a delicate body. The soul, in a state beyond Turiya, remains in its foundational source within our causal body.
The movement of our soul is such that it descends from the point between the eyebrows down to the base (Muladhara) and ascends back gradually to the point between the eyebrows. All the places from the point between the eyebrows to the Muladhara are contained within our divine eyes. The lower centers mentioned in the Yaga scriptures should not be taken in this context. The upper centers are capable of bestowing divine knowledge. There are five places in our body where the life force resides. Among them, two places are considered very important according to Vallalar Peruman. 1. Head, 2. Neck. The life force in the neck may perish. However, the life force in the head will continue to live on in an immortal state. Within the head, specifically in the center of the head, above the pineal gland, resides a vital energy center. All our activities and efforts must be constantly directed towards this vital center. In other words, our supreme effort (Brahmastra) should always be aimed at this vital energy in the center of the head. This is the supreme knowledge meditation taught by the ancient Tamil Siddhars.
The body will fall upon the earth, and it will enter your feet.
Brother, shall I think or feel the beauty within the slavery?
Said Manickavasagar in Thiruvasagam.
Many religious fanatics mistakenly believe that the soul leaves the body and, along with the subtle body and causal body, attains Shiva. They wander in ignorance. If, in a state unfit for rebirth, impurities are eradicated, the soul does not leave the body but remains within. If it leaves, what else can we call that physical body but a corpse? Spiritual gain is the profound Shiva experience attained in the state of true liberation. The enlightened ones, who have achieved spiritual and pure knowledge, attain Shivahood and immerse themselves in the blissful experience. The full extent of their experiences cannot be completely conveyed; they share a little with those who are with them.
Once in Vadalur, Vallalperuman had built a charitable hall and was giving a lecture. At that time, Adoor Sabapathi Gurukkal, who was nearby, asked him, “What is the sign of a pure sage?” The Guru who didn’t know the answer, stammered. Immediately, the sage stepped out of the hall into the sunlight, removed the upper cloth he was wearing, and stood. At that moment, his body’s shadow did not fall on the ground. Pointing out that absence of the shadow, he said, “This is the sign of a pure sage.” This is the state of Brama Muthi.
Another time, while Vallal Peruman was delivering a sermon at the Dharma Sala, some unknown new individuals were listening to the sermon with great emotion and experience. Noticing this, Velayudha Mudaliar sent little Veerasamy Reddiar, who was a child at that time, to the Swamis as the sermon was about to end to ask who the newcomers were. Vallal Peruman, realizing this, said, “Why do you ask! Did Mudaliar ask you to inquire? Those standing at the front are Yoga Siddhars, and those standing at the back are Gnana Siddhars. They were traveling through the sky with the aid of ‘Kulika Mani’. However, they lost their strength to the Kulika Mani in the presence of a pure enlightened being. Therefore, they came here and departed.” When Veerasamy asked, “Where are they now?” Vallal Peruman replied, “By now, they would have crossed Kashi.”
These are the pure experiences of true philosophical wisdom that Vallalar Peruman attained in his lifetime. The reason others do not have these wisdom experiences is that they have not reached the state of ultimate liberation (Brahmamutti) that Vallalar Peruman achieved. In these Pramamutti states, what stages will our body achieve? Our impure physical body will transform into a pure physical body without decaying into a corpse. The bones of this body will turn into gold, becoming a pure, eternal body. Impurities such as gray hair, wrinkles, and aging will not affect us. Our body will not be destroyed by the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Such a pure body will eventually transform into the next structure, the Pranava body.
At that time, one can see that Pranava form with the eyes, but it is not possible to catch that form with our hands. This is what our ancestors have described as the Omaya form and the form of grace. It is also known as the ethereal form and the form of bliss. Just as the sky cannot be seen with the eyes, our body will merge and dissolve with the divine form and divine light. This state of liberation is also referred to as Brama Mukti state and mixing with the sky. This state is known as the blessed union with the divine, which is Brama Mukti. Vallarpuriman performed penance and attained eternal life without death, as substantiated by the following verses sung by him. Here it is through his divine voice.
Tiruvarutpa 6th Thirumurai
106. Pure Shiva State
He who blended with my eyes,
Merged with my thoughts,
Abides within my mind,
He who blended with my music,
Part of my song, mixed with my life,
Merged with compassion.
Here’s the translation of the given text from Tamil to English while preserving the format:
He gave milk to me, he also gave me the key to open the doors,
He gave me a stick, he gave me virtues – he gave me
The strength to understand the time and situation,
He gave me stability, and he provided abundantly.
I meditated and attained penance, and the Lord of the celestial realm,
Came on His own and restrained me – He entered
My flesh, my heart,
And my soul, bestowing His grace fully.
Realizing “Shiva is one,”
In true understanding,
I attained the state of pure wisdom – indeed, truly
I gained all the siddhis*,
That’s the fruit of the devotion
To the dancer of divine Ambala.
*siddhis: supernatural powers or abilities
Pure form and blissful form is Oṁkāra
Eternal form too, fully flourishes – called by wise
I have attained the form of wisdom here, everywhere
He who plays without attachment, Himself.
I sought penance by myself, with the gracious mercy of the Almighty,
I attained the divine power by myself – I,
Received the eternal forms of the three,
Dance without fail here.
All the philosophies speak of confusion instead of clarity
Eyes fail to lead the way in battle – Eyes
Having experienced the grace of Lord’s various qualities
I understood this right here with joy.
Deathless great life
The First Chapter of Gnana Sariyai:
Thinking and thinking, realizing and realizing, melting and melting, oh love,
Tears well up abundantly, drenching the body,
O nectar of grace, the true joy, the wisdom,
You are the king of conduct, my sovereign, thus,
We bow and praise fervently, come, worldly beings,
We shall live a great life, free from death,
I do not fabricate, nor do I lie, I speak the truth,
This is the moment to enter the golden hall, the esteemed hall.
When adopting this path of wisdom, it is said that God granted one a deathless state. He mentions that thinking, feeling, and rejoicing, and love being fulfilled are the functions of the senses. These are interconnected. Furthermore, one leads to the other. When these bloom, tears should flow abundantly from the divine eyes like a pouring stream. Tears should gush like heavy rain from a storm cloud. Tears should swell and stream down the feet. This is a spiritual matter. During this stage, while walking in the divine feet, true awareness begins to emerge within the feet. It is important to observe carefully. True awareness feels like flowers blooming all over the body, like the fragrance of flowers wafting around, like a gentle breeze softly caressing the body, a sensation that makes the hair stand on end. That is true awareness. This occurs as a spiritual experience within the practitioner during the practice of supreme knowledge. It is at this stage that tears begin to flow profusely from the eyes, soaking the body.
Within our body, the true sensations gradually continue to increase, and at a certain point, they merge and intertwine with the nectarine aspects of the left divine foot and the magnetic aspects of the right divine foot. This process of fusion and unity begins to take place, blending together and intertwining. At that moment, entranced and awestruck at the divine feet, unable to close the eyes from the overwhelming bliss, the gaze becomes fixed, and the seeker continuously beholds the divine truth. This is what the enlightened ones referred to as union with the divine.
Without uniting with God, it is impossible to fully absorb His divine arts. Only when you unite with God do the divine arts emerge from within our soul. As God’s sacred divine arts shine forth, we are immersed in an ecstatic sensory experience, isn’t it? It begins when we unite with those true experiential arts. This naturally occurring divine play is like a heavenly marriage.
If you have been practicing Brama Gnana Thavam (spiritual discipline for God realization) correctly, this experience will definitely happen to everyone. If divine arts are thus integrated with true experiential arts, then these divine arts will manifest within our bodies, transforming our physical body into a golden body. Brama gnanis (those who have attained God realization) have stated that each cell of the body should gradually become light, light atoms, through the practice of Brama Gnana Thavam.
However, when I was engaged in meditation in the Himalayas, under my guru Paramahansa Sundarananda Maharishi, I began to unite with God in the aforementioned manner. My guru observed this keenly. Then, without interrupting my meditation, he said, “Son, listen to what I say. But do not get up. Continue to immerse yourself in the meditation. Has your soul within you now begun to unite with your God?”
My vital sense started responding exclusively to our teacher. “Alright son, now carefully observe where those ecstatic ultimate realizations are emerging within the supreme consciousness,” he said. I too began the subtle practice of deep meditation. Suddenly, a great light appeared, circular in shape, and within it, I observed a golden radiance, steady and unchanging, emitting brilliance. I felt immense joy. From above this great light, a white radiance began to steadily descend, gradually coming downwards.
My soul began conversing with the Guru. “Do you see where the silver light and the golden light merge? Observe that initial point closely,” he said. As soon as I started observing it, those two lights began to lift their heads and look at my face like a snake taking a snapshot. There was no fear within me; instead, the feeling of bliss and ecstasy kept increasing.
“These lights of life and the light of Shiva must always merge and unite continuously. Stay fixed there,” he instructed. Time continued to pass. It must be around 7 hours. I haven’t risen from meditation. Suddenly, I started experiencing a state of breathlessness, reduced heartbeat, and a sense of faintness. I think this lasted for almost an hour. That’s all. My life was dancing within me like a blissful dancer, swaying and singing in joy. There were no other thoughts. Only me and my life were there.
The divine light (Sivavoli) started to merge with my soul and began to interweave with it. I started to dissolve. I was melting. The touch sensors of my body were signaling the gradual spread of coolness. Slowly, the breath within the body began to settle. At that moment, a sound emerged from the divine light, enclosing my soul. It was the resonance of the great mantra. Instantly, without a second thought, my soul absorbed this great mantra and began to drown and delight in it. That’s it. What is a home, what is a forest, what is position, what is desire, what is lust, what is illusion, what is that, what is this, none of it is necessary, none of it is necessary, none of it is necessary, said the soul. Our soul experiences joy and supreme bliss.
At that moment, it felt as though someone had struck me hard on my head. Just like that, all of our collective joy vanished abruptly, like ice melting in the face of the sun. Looking up, I saw my teacher standing before me. “Hey boy, who told you to go into a state of meditation? Why didn’t you come out immediately?” he asked. “Guru, I went to my meditation place. I was merging with the divine, Guru,” I said. It has been 11 years. That’s when Guru told me, “My son, this is the state of Samadhi. You have begun to submerge beyond Samadhi, entering into Nirvikalpa. You should know how to go into Samadhi and also know how to come out of it. Otherwise, the body will disintegrate. How is it that I never taught you Samadhi? Then how did you deeply enter into Samadhi?” he asked.
“Guru, please forgive me. Without consulting you, I have done nothing until now. But, I don’t understand, Guru. This divine realization has changed me in some way. I think it’s because of that.” Immediately, our life guru started speaking, “No, sir, Sivanesan did not enter Samadhi. He has learned the principles required for Samadhi. However, he does not know that these are the principles of Samadhi. Because you are nearby, I was the one who immersed him in Samadhi. Nothing more. But, like someone enjoying a sugarcane, he has really started to savor it,” he said.
Upon hearing this, the guru said, “This must not happen again. When someone enters a state of ‘samadhi,’ there must always be someone present to assist, to protect the body. Whenever I entered samadhi on the Sathuragiri Hills, he was always there like a mother, like a host of protectors, safeguarding my body. When he finds such a disciple, we can consider that matter. Do not make him enter ‘samadhi’ again. This is my command,” he declared. My life force retreated in response, saying, “Let it be so, Master.” Countless events have occurred between us and the Guru in a similar manner. We had to mention the above event because we took the topic of “Brahmamuthi” here. Everyone, please be a little patient.
In this manner, when the divine arts merge with our true consciousness, those divine arts will work through our body, transforming our physical form into a resplendent golden body; it will rise as a body of light; it will change into a pure body; it will radiate as a golden body; it will endure as an eternal body; it will take the form of love. This body will remain eternal and always continue to exist without deteriorating. Afterward, it will transform into a radiant form. Beyond that, it will become a body of wisdom, a celestial form, a form of bliss, and merge into the form of God, becoming divinely united with God. This is the unparalleled great life. This is the true state of Brama Mukti (liberation). The foundation for all this is the efficacy of the senses. May you be spared from a fatal disease, The medicine that exhibited great efficacy (Thirukkural, Chapter 6, Verse 1-1327)
Therefore, if we enter our golden hall, observe in the small hall, combine the golden and small halls, and see the golden hall which represents the ancient essence of Shiva within us, joy will overflow. We must drink from this joy and experience supreme bliss. This joy is such that it never fades. When we partake in this joy,

Always remain in the state of deathlessness (Thayumanavar, Verse 6, 82-12)
Therefore, Vallal Perumaan invited everyone to come and join the Ponnambalam (Golden Hall) and Chit Sabha (Smaller Hall) in order to experience the pure path of virtuous deeds and attain the true state of Brama Moksha.
Thus far, in the path of pure Sanmarga, the soul, being in the physical body, attains maturity through sensory discipline, mental discipline, life discipline, and spiritual discipline. By His grace, as the veils of the three impurities are removed at the divine feet, the physical body becomes a pure body, experiencing the essence of life, consuming the nectar of grace, standing in the Pranava body, receiving the gracious experience, and merging with the divine ultimate reality within the soul by the truth of grace, enjoying the experience of Shivam, and leading a great life of supreme bliss. Attaining the state of the body of wisdom, merging with the true essence of the divine feet, becoming Siva, shining with the supreme accomplishment of Siva fellowship, attaining the wealth of Siva experience, and perpetually, everywhere, becoming pure Siva, filled with infinite gracious light, is the liberation of pure Sanmarga. This is the peerless supreme cause of Brama liberation.
Like the rain that calls from the sky, similarly, God also…
The one who stands and calls, hesitates saying it’s a murder.
Standing and calling, like my Nandi
“I call upon standing, considering it as BramaGnana” (Thiruvasagam 30)
Rainwater is essential for the Earth. Calling it to come won’t make it arrive. For rain to pour, clouds must form first, then those clouds must darken. Only then can rain be brought forth. Similarly, calling out to God to come won’t make Him appear. Humans are hesitant to receive His grace. Just as a calf, driven by hunger, calls out “Maa…!” to its mother cow and the mother cow comes running to the calf, so too do the spiritually mature souls, standing in penance and calling out for divine wisdom, receive God running to them like the mother cow and the raincloud to grant supreme knowledge. Concluding this discourse on such a note, we pray that all the souls who listened to this wisdom attain liberation and merge with the divine light of supreme knowledge, seeking blessings from our revered Gurus. Blessings and best wishes to all.
